Students interested in getting involved with archery need to use the right equipment. NASP recommends students start with a Genesis compound bow and arrows. Advanced archers will step up to higher equipment. See the Genesis Web site for details.

Our Mission and Vision
Mission
The mission of the Archery Boosters of Cincinnati (ABC) is to promote the educational and health benefits of participation in the sport of archery in Cincinnati, Ohio and surrounding areas as follows:
- Promote awareness of archery programs through hosting or supporting informational or community events.
- Purchase and distribute archery equipment to approved public bodies such as schools and community or recreation centers.
- Fund training for new coaches on the rules and practices of archery, or education for teachers and counselors on the physical, mental and social benefits of archery.
Vision
ABC sees a future where all Cincinnati are high schools and middle schools offer archery programs in their schools and where the Cincinnati area offers a robust and internationally competitive program for exceptional archers at or near an Olympic level.
Walnut Hills Archery Team
The Walnut Hills Eagles archery team is in its third year of existence. Already this exceptional team has sent one athlete to compete at the National Tournament and hopes to see the entire team compete there this year. The Walnut Hills Eagles are also the first recipient of an Archery Boosters of Cincinnati grant under our team shirt support program. Archery Boosters of Cincinnati will supply a grant of up to $350 for the purpose of purchasing team shirts or jerseys to a Cincinnati area archery team where 50% or more of the parents/guardians of athletes are members of ABC.
